Horley Town Council supports this year’s Great British September Clean.
Horley Mayor and Council leader David Powell said: “Keeping Horley clean and litter free is a priority for the council as litter is unsightly and hazardous to our natural environment. We’re also delighted to be joined by Claire Coutinho MP on Saturday 26th September to litter pick with the Horley community.” To coincide with Claire’s visit, Horley Town Council is encouraging residents to get out and pick litter on Saturday 26th September from 9am-12pm. The town council offices will have a supply of purple litter picking rubbish sacks available from Monday 21st September. If you have any questions or plan to organise a private group to pick litter, please contact the council on 01293 784765.
